If you're caring enough to remember, August 25th marks the anniversary of Aaliyah Haughton's death via plane crash (R.I.P.). I know many of you are wondering what does Aaliyah have to do with the Roc-a-Fella break up, well she IS THE REASON THE ROC HAD SPLIT. Everyone knows that Dame was engaged to Aaliyah prior to her death in 2001, but few know that Jay-Z had feelings for her too and that they actually dated before Dame proposed to her. The movie "Death of a Dynasty" wasn't too far from the truth....on that note...R.I.P to both Aaliyah and the Roc-A-Fella Dynasty.
