May History Repeat Itself

Maan not again...what the celtics have to be saying to themselves going into another first round game 7 series. Last year it was hawks...this year its RAGING BULLS (get it...). Anyway, a lot of things went down in this triple overtime game 6. Rajon Rondo (who should have been called for that flagrant against Brad Miller in game 5, and who should have been thrown out tonight) threw Kirk Hinrich into the scores table and they almost threw fist, which would have really messed up both teams rosters...especially Boston. Three players from the Celtics fouled out. Ben Gordon fouled out. Ray Allen had 51 points. Even Joakim Noah has his breakthrough play dunking on Paul Pierce. This has been one wild series, and it'll all be over on Saturday. Game 7 will be broadcasted on TNT. There isn't a time set yet, but stay on http://www.nba.com for an update.

ROSS WANTS WAR! Recently Rick Ross put up a video talking about how Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks have been dropped from the music label Interscope. Also in the video he speaks on how some people told him that calling 50 a monkey is racial....SO HE CALLS EMINEM A MONKEY, AND SAYS HE ACTUALLY A HONKEY!?!?? That's raw...and you can see that a war is on its way, seeing as how neither 50 or Eminem have dropped their albums yet. Ross also clowns with the Air Yeezy's saying that they pretty much killin' those G-Unit shoes lol.



Oh yea....Ross sold 152,873 in his first week....that's pretty nice now a days.

Air Jordan Retro 1 Laser Blue Polka Dots

Here goes yet another design for the Air Jordan 1, this time done up with polka dots. The shoe has some black coloring in it with small blue polka dots to compliment the design and a white outsole. I'm not so sure about these myself. What are your thoughts on them? Leave a comment.

2 Down...6 More To Go

2 teams in the NBA Playoffs have been bumped out of the first round in the past two days. The Detroit Pistons (...smh) and the Utah Jazz.

The Pistons getting swept (...smh) by the Cleveland Cavaliers is really just a shame. If I was Joe D. or Michael Curry or whoever makes the decisions, I would have just skipped the playoffs and took a lottery pick. Its better than gettin swept and then having a bullshit pick later in the draft...but hey...aint shit I can do about it.

The Jazz put up a little fight but it wasn't enough. They won one game at home and the rest were taken by the Los Angeles Lakers. Tell you the truth I thought the Jazz would have put up a bigger fight. Maybe 6 games at least...but I guess the Lakers are just too good to even let them get the chance. KOBE DONT PLAY DAT! lol

Nike Air Force 1 "Mean Green"

This is a new Nike AF1, nicknamed the "Mean Greens" and is exclusive to JD Sports. The majority of the shoe is made of black leather, with light green on the swoosh and on the sole. Very little blue can be seen around the shoe as well. Check 'em out.

Nike Sportswear Skinny Dunk "Checker" Package

At the beginning of '09, the Nike company released the Skinny Dunks to us and they were very well accepted by sneaker fans. Because of the popularity, Nike is releasing this Checkered skinny dunk pack. One of the shoes in the pack has red/white checkers covering the upper portion of the shoe with a red nylon toe area. The other shoe is made up in the same design, just in a navy blue colorway. Both have a white outsole and a white swoosh on the sides. No word yet on a release date, but it should be here in a few months.

The playoffs are finally here!!!!

The playoffs are here, and there are some very good match ups that will be taking place in the first round. I like the match-up between Portland and Houston. I think Houston will take it but Portland is a very young and exciting team that never has backed down this season. Everyone know that my favorite NBA saying is LA ALL DAY, and that is exactly why the Lakers are seeded number 1 in the west, even though they got beat out for the best record in the league by the Cavaliers I still feel like they will be able to win it all. I will definitely be keeping you updated on all of the latest NBA playoff news. The Playoffs start this weekend on Saturday at 12:30, with the Bulls playing the Celtics, this should be interesting because no one knows how effective KG will be after his injury. All I can say is stay tuned.

Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 (Black/White-Pure Purple)

The Nike CB34 made a comeback in 2008. Now Nike is back with the Nike CB94 and a lot of different colorways along with it. The majority of the upper part of the shoe has black suede with white leather inbetween it. Purple is also featured in the shoe, located around the tongue area and around the outsole. These are definately on my cop list.

Nike RT1 (Neutral Grey/Green Mist)

We have already seen the release of the black Nike RT1's, now here comes the next pair in the lineup. The shoe has been a hit amongst sneaker fans, especially since they resemble the Nike Air Yeezy's. These RT1's are mostly grey, with a white outsole and a green mist colored sole. Safari print can also be seen on the back heel of the shoe. Cop 'em on May 1st.

The Last Kiss: Album Review

Jada has dropped his third solo album (The Last Kiss) and to me its pretty nice. After being pushed back from December 8th due to the lack of radio play for his singles Who Run This ft. Jay-Z and By My Side ft. Ne-Yo, it finally released on April 7th. I don't know yet if its doing anything on the sales tip but I think it should. The cd has 18 songs with features from Swizz Beatz, OJ Da Juiceman, Mary J. Blige, Styles P, Nas, Avery Storm, Pharrell, Jazmine Sullivan, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Sheek Louch, S.I., Ne-Yo, Faith Evans, Blood Raw, and Lil Wayne. Many features but its still a nice album, seeing as a lot of songs are just singin features, or have more than one feature a song. This is a definite cop on my list. The Last Kiss...Jadakiss...Rocafella...Go COP NOW!

Nike Dunk Hi (White/Dark Obsidian)

There have been quite a few colorways of the Nike Dunk collection releasing recently and this pair is one the best to come out. The shoe mainly has a dark obsidian color to the upper portion of the shoe with a white outsole and white on the toe area of the shoe. The sole is also dark obsidian. Check out the pics.
